WEEK 3: NOVEMBER 27 TO DECEMBER 1

School:

                  St. Mary's HSS

Dates of practice:

                  November 27 to December 1

Description of the week

Week 3 comprised of only three regular working days. The collector declared holiday in the afternoon session on Thursday, November 30 due to heavy rainfall that occurred as an impact of the very severe tropical cyclonic storm, Ockhi. December 1, Friday was also declared as a holiday due to the same reason.
I was able to complete two lesson plans during the week. It includes
1.     Power of lens and Hypermetropia: Refraction of light- Class IX. J
2.     Salts- Chemical formula and Uses of Salt: Acid, Alkalies and Salts- Class IX. F1

     Self-Reflection:

I could convey the content to the students in an effective manner. The videos I showed during the classes were particularly interesting and students actively participated in the activities carried out in class. I felt satisfied when students were able to write the chemical formula of salts without my help.
We were assigned line duty in the evening which provided with a different experience.

The unexpected holiday posed a challenge in completing the lesson plans I intended to take during the week. I was able to take only eight lesson plans in total.
