WEEKLY REFLECTION: DECEMBER 11 TO DECEMBER 18

Description of the week Owing to the Christmas celebrations and examination, there were no regular classes during the week. As a result, we were not able to cover any curricular components during the week. On December 11, it was a regular working day till 2 p. m. There were Christmas programs in the school auditorium. We also celebrated Christmas by exchanging gifts with the internship trainees from St. Thomas Training College. The real joy of Christmas was truly felt when we exchanged gifts. On December 12, we got a holiday owing to the study leave for Christmas examination. From December 13 to December 15, there was no regular classes. Arrangements were adequately made in the school for the Christmas celebration. The exam halls were allotted to students a week before itself and it avoided the chaotic situation usually seen during exams. WEEK 4: DECEMBER 4 TO DECEMBER 8, 2017

      The fourth week was well spent. Each and every moment at school was utilized fully. Ø Coverage of Curricular Components:  I was able to complete nine lesson plans. It includes: 1. WEEK 3: NOVEMBER 27 TO DECEMBER 1

School:                   St. Mary's HSS Dates of practice:                    November 27 to December 1 Description of the week Week 3 comprised of only three regular working days. The collector declared holiday in the afternoon session on Thursday, November 30 due to heavy rainfall that occurred as an impact of the very severe tropical cyclonic storm, Ockhi. December 1, Friday was also declared as a holiday due to the same reason. I was able to complete two lesson plans during the week. WEEK 1 : NOVEMBER 13 TO NOVEMBER 17,2017

 Internship Practice  Week 1 As a part of B.Ed course, we were assigned different schools for the internship phase. The internship phase started on November 13, 2017, Monday. The school allotted to me was St. Mary's Higher Secondary School, Pattom. During this phase, we have to take thirty lesson plans including Physical Education and Health Education, collect data for our project, conduct achievement test and diagnostic test, etc. We were given clear instructions regarding our activities in school including the expected dates in which we have to complete our works. I was assigned class IX.J to take Physics under the guidance of Mini Mathew teacher and class IX.F1 to teach Chemistry under the guidance of Preetha V R teacher.  I got one period in class IX.F1 during the first week.
