WEEKLY REFLECTION: JANUARY 15 TO JANUARY 19, 2018

Ø Dates of Practice: 

                        From January 15 to January 19, 2018

Ø General description of the week

It was a holiday for school on January 15 due to Makara Sankranthi. It was a regular working day on January 16. Due to model examinations for Class X students, the high school students were given holiday from January 17 to January 19. We reported back to college on January 17 and carried out other assigned tasks

Ø Coverage of Curricular Components:

No lesson plans were completed during the week owing to the holidays given to the high school students. Innovative work 1 was presented to students of class IX. J

Ø Progress of other practicals during the week:

The post test for the project was administered in class IX. F1. Diagnostic test were also conducted for the same class on 16th January.

Ø Self-Reflection:


I was not able to complete any lesson plan during the week. I was able to make a progress with regard to my project. Students were particularly interested when I showed them the Stellarium software. I was happy to be able to clarify their doubts regarding the subject. I was happy to be able to witness the curiosity of the students.

WEEKLY REFLECTION: JANUARY 8 TO JANUARY 12, 2018

Ø Dates of Practice:                       From January 08 to January 12, 2018 Ø Coverage of Curricular Components: I was able to cover four lesson plans in the week which includes: 1.      Ohm’s Law - Current Electricity- IX.J 2.      Resistors - Current Electricity- IX.J 3.      Reaction of hydrogen chloride and identification of chloride salt- Compounds of non-metals – IX.F1 4.      Nitric acid – Compounds of non- metals – IX. F1 Ø Progress of other practicals during the week: Achievement test on the chapter Acid, Alkalies and Salts were carried out on January 10, 2018 for the class IX.
